Unfortunately, my computer died, and I'm backing things up onto the new one, so I couldn't really make a real post for today. Things should be settled by like....Wednesday, and I'll have a new, content-containing post ready then.
In the meantime, here's an article that my sculpture professor sent me about how cell phone companies have recently been using the look of some postmodern art works for their ads-- so maybe I was inadvertently perceptive about this at&t/postmodernism connection?

Unfortunately, this week has been really crazy, so I didn't have time to make anything new. Also, there will be no new content next week because I'll be on a cruise, completely without internet access.
However, I'll have a lot of time to chill and come up with good, new ideas, so next Monday, functional blogging will resume and I'll really have my act together.

Here are the mostly finished pillows-- they still have big flaws and need some tweaking.
Sorry I don't have two posts ready for today like I promised. My rather improvisational sewing techniques have started to fail me, so I kept having to fix my own mistakes to get these somewhat done.
Even though the one pillow (illegibly) says "meth", I'm not advocating meth use. DON'T DO METH!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted today! My sister's graduation was tonight (mad props 2 goody!), and I've been too preoccupied with entertaining family guests to deal with the whole blogging thing right now. I'll do two posts on Monday to make up for this.

Here's the start to my new, very crafty project that I've started. I figured I needed some new pillows for my room next year, and just decided to make them myself. I haven't gotten very far because I realized I need to get some thick, heavy duty needles. For those who really adhere to the idea of a strict division between real art versus crafts, I promise, I'll finish this up really quickly and make some big paintings soon.

I've been really busy this week, so I haven't really done much for my newest project. But, for now, here are some more pages from my AT&T book (that should be completed soon). I guess it's vaguely relevant to post these now since BP is trying to do some damage control right now. I don't think even Luke Wilson could clean up their corporate image.

Here are the remaining prints from the Michael Jackson printmaking final project. These ones are really the worst ones. Sorry I didn't make anything truly new yet-- I blame Memorial Day weekend for my lack of productivity.
Now that I'm pretty much out of old things to post about, I've gotta step up, move on, and make something new for Friday.
